Trying to get through by phone to Bayfields is painful. Promised calls back which do not happen. Was initially told I would receive a call back that day regarding rescheduling an appointment. A week passed and nothing. Left two voicemails for a call back, finally got rebooked in but was told to expect a call in a weeks time, it would be diarised! But nothing!! Did not have these issues with Charnleys! Sadly, the call backs do not happen, just false promises.

Made an appointment for a Sunday morning. I arrived a few minutes early and was asked to take a seat. I waited for 20 minutes beyond my appointment without any comment from the staff. Had to leave as car parking would expire before the Eye test could be completed. I was with Charnleys for over 40 years, the difference is staggering bad. Sent an email via web page contact, not surprisingly no response. Can you give a no star review? Left a honest review regarding the poor service. Got a promise of a call back from the practice manager to discuss the situation. Seven months on still no call from the practice manager but still being chased to make another appointment. How much poor service should you need to endure?

First class service from Katie and Angela who took a lot of care with service, were very quick and clear with all communication and professional, friendly and helpful in the opticians. (Don't understand the poor reviews, the opposite of my experience, and seem to be written about somewhere else.)
