Within this historical beautiful building, is a small museum, an art gallery, a tourist guide/gift shop, and a cafeteria. There are also toilet/baby changing facilities.
There is a venue attached to the rear of the cafeteria, where I believe can be booked for occasions. I have seen wedding parties there.
The building welcomes using rotating circular doors, and its warmth and activity intrigues. A day out for me on numerous occasions, so must also mention they have computers/printer/photocopier, the latter two for a small charge. These are on the first floor of the library area, where there is also space and desks to work/study from.
Much activity, though remains respectfully quiet for those seeking peace to read, work/study. Daily papers are also available.
My most favorite library I've ever been to.
