Baabzi Indian Takeaway

Our most recent takeaway from Baabzi was very disappointing. It initially came earlier than expected by almost half an hour which was welcomed but also the first red flag. The vegetables in the curry were uncooked (huge chunks of literally raw onion and pepper) and the sauce just tasted like a generic sauce rather than the one we asked for. The chicken was also clearly not freshly cooked and rather used as leftovers from another dish. My paratha was soaking in ghee and seemed like it hadn't been cook (tasted and felt like raw dough). Finally, my tarka dhal side dish, a staple favourite of mine so I know what texture and taste it should be, was so watery and flavourless that I ended up pouring it down the sink! The only edible thing, in my opinion, was my tandoori chicken and the peshwari naan. This place used to be a great option for curry but unfortunately, after this experience, I'll be avoiding it for a while.

Sorry but this has to be one of the worst Indians Ive possibly had. The lamb main was so Chewy, not even edible so that was a waste & the keema naan has minimal keema in, may aswel of been a plain naan.

I decided to order from Baabzi in Warwick after reading an online magazine article about it. I will not do this again. Me and my partner didn't enjoy the food and some of it went in the bin.
