Core Gym

I liked the gym myself, however one of the guys I was coaching for a bit of weight loss used to sweat, and you're not allowed to sweat too much here, so we had to leave, first I noticed a guy come and spray air freshener over where my guy was squatting (imagine a nice lung full of that aerosol). Then the following day, me and two other lads got an email asking us to check our hygiene! Personally I always have fresh gym kit, always shower before, after, and usually when I get home too, so I wasn't too concerned if some snowflakes can't handle a sweaty guy in a gym, my friend however was so upset and offended he's quit the gym altogether, this was about 18 months ago. So yeah I don't mind this gym, but really it's not ideal to upset people out of actually training altogether. Especially when your issue was him sweating in the gym, lol what can I say. Oh yeah that Ben who worked/works there also made comments about my friend smelling like a 'skunk', unfortunately my friend was in a toilet cubicle when this comment was made and heard it loud and clear. So really I'm being extremely overly generous by giving the gym 2 stars. I have no personal issues, but I had to witness them ruin someone's goals and routine for a ridiculous reason, so yeah, not good.

Great gym overall. Friendly, clean and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit to form your own opinion about the facility.

Over priced at almost 60, extremely overcrowded, continually being dripped on due to a leaky roof (only happens when its raining so not condensation), the environment generally is too humid (please sort out the air con), old lockers half of which dont work or have the numbers rubbed off, poor opening times and they dont let you in an hour before closure. The facilities are good at least and the PTs very good. The worst thing though is that Ive handed these comments into their suggestion box but they do absolutely nothing about it. Why even bother having it?
