Worse than useless. 1st time walked away from the door and never even told me they'd left without doing the work. Second time they booked a mains smoke alarm as a battery smoke alarm. They seem to have a problem with basic English.

Awful unprofessional service. Plumber/heating engineer booked to change a cartridge on a kitchen mixer tap and check my heating boiler as intermittent fault. All discussed in detail with the office - the worker arrived 20 minutes late which is acceptable with a 2mm allen key missing from his set needed for the tap and went off from Whitnash to Clemen Street to buy one (maximum ten minutes each way) leaving his toolcase in my kitchen. An hour later he had still not returned. I called the office to ask them to contact him but was shouted down 'we're really busy, we're really busy'. I wasn't given chance to explain he had gone to purchase a new tool and I had to leave the house for a work emergency and had no means of contacting him. Within 10 minutes of leaving my house I was bombarded with calls and texts from both the office and the worker. I told the office and the worker the tool case left could be collected that evening at 7pm or I would deliver to anywhere locally and I was sorry but nothing I could do. It was collected at 7pm sharp but in the interim period the numerous calls and texts from the worker and the office were aggressive, threatening and rude. BE WARNED, in the old days Sureways was never run like this, but in the latter years owners are both accountants not plumbers or engineers who are remote from the business which speaks for itself!!!!

We recently had a new boiler fitted and we used Sureway Heating as we have been customers for 30 years. They installed our first boiler, a Potterton gravity system with the hot water tank in the airing cupboard and a header tank in the loft. So 30 years later it was a big job to convert to a combi condensing system and have all the above removed. To make the job even more labour intensive the new boiler required a bigger gas intake pipe from the meter in the garage to the kitchen. We have to say Cale, our gas fitter, and his mate, Fred, worked really hard during the four days they were with us and did a really good job. They were both respectful and personable at all times. When they finished they left our home clean and tidy. We would like to thank them and recommend them to anyone considering a new boiler installation.
