Nicola at Real Homes Design Consultancy drew up the plans for our two-storey extension to our 1950s house. She is very knowledgeable, responsive and really knows her stuff. She was also full of great ideas and came up with some creative solutions for us. Our builder said that her plans were the best he'd seen in a long time. Highly recommended.

Nicola helped us get a lot more space out of our three-bedroom end of terrace. We only extended upstairs by a couple of metres but by moving (a lot!) of internal walls and changing flat roofs into pitched ones with skylights, we now have a home that feels much bigger and much lighter than before. Having been refused planning permission for plans submitted with a previous architect, Nicola helped us see the project from a new angle. At every point she was friendly, professional and available to speak with. She made a daunting process feel manageable and was particularly great with practical advice for family living, from plug sockets to outside lights to bike storage. We highly recommend her.

We contacted Nicola when we were thinking of ways to extend and modernise our property. Following an initial meeting whereby we discussed various ideas and aspirations, Nicola came up with various options. We then worked with her through the planning and detailed design process. We found Nicola to be great to work with and are very happy with the end result!
