Horrendous. The female working there (maybe the owner) was rude, patronising and snarky. She hurried us out, took away food we hadnt finished with and was tutting and rolling her eyes because we werent ordering quick enough for her. We wanted to enjoy our meal and take our time but she was uncomfortable to be around. She should absolutely not be working there. We were the only couple in there whole restaurant which speaks volumes (it was empty). Maybe remove her and her terrible attitude and theyll be more customers. Back to emperors!! Highly recommend them for their food and service. Dont waste your money here.

We have just had a take away. It was ready for the time agreed and was delicious. Happy to recommend. Vegetarian options: Good non-meat options.

Would not recommend. Very rude manager and service was poor. Food very greasy too. Will not be returning.

For many years this was our favourite local Chinese. My parents had been going every few months for nearing on a decade. We had always been pretty happy with the service and food, until on one reasonably busy Saturday night the owner got quite angry with us because our table booking had somehow gotten lost. There was a queue of a few other families whose bookings had also gotten lost. When we were seated (which was promptly as there were still multiple empty tables), the owner was loud and very rude and made us all feel very uncomfortable. It is such a shame as we had always enjoyed coming, but unfortunately won't be going back after this experience. Trying The Emperor round the corner from now on.
