        We had to stop on the way from Birmingham as we couldn't select gears anymore. Asked them to top up the gearbox with oil and they refused. Sent us to a gearbox specialist on a Friday afternoon when we clearly broke down and were desperate. I suppose if you need to change a tyre or top up screenwash they're ok. Otherwise disgusted by their tone.

        I took my car in to have an engine rattle looked at. They were very honest and said it wasn't worth hunting around to find the problem. I got a second opinion who said the same. They could have taken me for a ride, but they didn't.

        Needed brake pads and discs replacing. The lads got me booked in at short notice and really looked after me. Polite and friendly service as always, work carried out quickly and to a high standard. Forget about the chain retailers that don't look after you, once you've visited Auto Stop you'll not go elsewhere. Service: Brake service & repair
