Darcy Architects offers a fantastic service, which supported us from the initial concept meeting, through the planning permission process and onto the development of the final designs. From day one they were responsive and really listened to what we wanted out of our family home. We engaged with Darcy Architects for our 1930's 2 story wrap around extension the entire process was exemplary! The team full understood our vision but also suggested further ideas which really expanded on and developed our initial vision, resulting in a sympathetic but innovative design. The entire process was perfect with a great interactions with the team, it was a pleasure to work with Darcy Architects on the design process and the planning application process was professionally managed on our behalf. One final point even after planning was approved and Dacy Architects completed all the agreed outcomes, when we encountered an issue with our initial builder, and we needed advice and support Darcy Architects went above and beyond, to which my wife and I incredibly grateful. We received a fantastic service from Jonathan and Darcy Architects. Being the first time we have undertaken a major house renovation, Jonathan was really helpful in guiding us through the process and helping us understand what was possible with the planned extension. Any issues (like the initial planning application being rejected) were dealt with quickly and professionally, and were ultimately resolved. Would definitely recommend.

Jonathan helped us design our new family home. We really liked his approach to our project as he took the time to work with us closely (explaining the process, answering our questions and sharing ideas). Once the designs were finalised he worked with the council to acquire planning permission and has even been on hand to answer questions from Building Control. We are very grateful to everyone at Darcy Architects.

After my introductory call with Jonathan, my mum, who was listening in, said "wow he's a genius". It turned out to be true. Our builder initially thought that we could save on the cost of an architect as we had very clear ideas for our remodel, and so didn't need one. However, working with Jonathan was the financially savvy choice and his ideas have undoubtedly increased the price of our property - for example, he managed to turn what was always going to be a small study into a large double bedroom. He took care to really understand what we needed, he challenged us and tested out different creative ideas. He then presented three amazing designs, each with a different concept to choose from. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Jonathan and the team at Darcy Architects. We can't recommend them highly enough.
