Ugh. Brought friends from the states here for a quick and good pub lunch. Wrong on both counts. I read previous reviews about a grumpy barman, but thought, That couldnt be true every day, could it? Turns out, it could. Might even go with angry barman. No worries - food will fix everything! But no. Burnt cheese toasties and dry chicken sandwich. At least the chips were hot? Save yourself the trouble and grief. Eat elsewhere. London has too many good pubs to waste your time here.
