An unusual little 80s time warp. The food was very enjoyable though none of our dishes were exactly as described on the menu. No sparkling water either, which is quite a basic drink. So overall a positive experience but probably not enough to make me go back.

First time back here in a couple of years, I'm glad to see it is still going. And glad to find they still serve excellent beer. Lovely pint of Pots ale. Girlfriend had a nice house red. And both had tasty lunch. Batter on the cod n chips was spot. Pan fried Hake and new potatoes. And lovely staff. Polite, friendly and helpful.

Delightful setting and very good food. My husband and I love coming here. There are great walks around too.

The Sunday roast was a let down. Frozen roast potatoes always nice at home but not eating out..all of it was pretty rubbish for what we paid. Won't be having that again there for sure. The waiting staff were lovely on a plus
