        This place came recommended and did not disappoint! Although the menu is varied, its all about those pies! Delicious! Ive revisited several times over the last year. Staff have always been friendly, prices are decent and the stock of drinks is good. Will probably go back again soon.

        Best pub for miles around. Wonderful cosy atmosphere, super-friendly staff and absolutely beautiful food. The pies are to die for. And in the warmer months, sitting outside by the canal is a delight. Only wish I had the time to come here more often!

        Lovely Bank Holiday Monday meal sitting next to the canal. The food was excellent despite it being very busy. Great location. Went for a walk along the canal.

        Came here today for a bite to eat. Waited over an hour for what I can only describe as Weatherspoons fish and chips. At 15 quid each, I can tell you now it really wasn't worth the wait. Why the staff did not tell anyone It was going to be over an hour for pikey food baffles me. I won't be coming back.
