Marwa Nursing Home

We couldnt have been happier with the care our father received at Marwa. Penko and his staff were incredibly supportive and kind to Dad for the 4 months he spent there before his final escape. The building and decoration are not the most modern but dont let that put you off. It is the care, dignity and respect shown to residents that matters above all else and in our view that was outstanding. A big thank you to all at Marwa.

they refused to call an ambulance ,for my father, saying he doesnt need one, wow, we called the Ambulance Dad was taken straight to hospital , shame there is NO minus button on the review

My 100 year old Mother-in-law has been in this home for 4+ years, I have found the staff to be kind and helpful and she has been very well cared for. Everywhere always looks clean and tidy.

A hidden gem! The original part of the home is quite old with a modern extension with wide corridors, a lift, spacious bedrooms and secure entry. Everywhere is scrupulously clean and fresh smelling and the lounge and dining areas fresh and bright. All the staff go way beyond giving 'standard' care. It is not a large home and there are plenty of staff in attendance to give their time to all residents and sit and talk. The qualified nurses have a high level of experience in nursing elderly and unwell people and along with the carers show respect and allow residents their dignity. Food has always been an important part of my mothers day! and I was delighted to find that food is freshly cooked each day and the chef provided fresh puree food as my mother required. I have every trust in the managers and staff of Marwa Nursing Home and would commend it to anyone looking for a happy and comfortable place for their relatives
