What wonderful staff!
Great instruction.
Well equipped boats.
Helpful office.
Useful reminders for the skipper at the tiller.
Unfortunately it didn't rain enough and the children were not ever bored or miserable but you can't have everything on an English summer holiday!
Our trick was to move ever so slowly.
Helping with the bridges and locks enabled the children to do a lot of growing-up, learning not to rush, giving way, saying hello to other boaters and organising as a crew.
I found the wife is eyeing the classifieds for small craft so this trip was a success.
