Sphinx Taxis

I got in a Sphinx taxi from Harborough town to the leisure centre, which for anyone who knows, isnt a far distance. Less than a mile. I asked how much, the driver said 4, he dropped me off and said 7 so I reluctantly paid the 7 with a 20 note. As I got out I noticed he had only given me 12.50 so I asked again how much it was. He repeated 7 but when I said you only gave me 12.50 change, instead of apologising he muttered under his breath that he had taken another 50p. This clearly wasnt a mistake as he offered no apology or genuine confusion as to accidentally giving the wrong change. As a women on my own I think he thought he could get away with it. Will be avoiding in the future.

Very overpriced, 23 for a short journey from Rothwell to Kettering. The return journey cost 10 less with a different company for the same distance.

Disgusting service,arrived late,paid too much money for a small trip.Also when I tried to call back the company they dont answer and blocked my number.DONT BOOK TAXIS FROM THIS COMPANY!

Absolute shocking!!! Based in Rothwell, used to get to Kettering 6miles and charged 35 for 6miles journey!! Tried calling office whilst in taking and phone turned off!! Why should I pay for him to come collect me from M.Harbrough and to Kettering! Nothing explained, thought use a "local" company whilst staying!! To have the shock when got to my destination of 35 for 6mile journey!!! Disgusting!!!
