Absolutely best opticians. My 95 year old mum in Oulton Manor care home. Had no glasses usable. Both pairs legs out. They mended fast with a smile and such empathy. Wasn't my opticians buy will be in the future for my large family.gjasses and lenses wearers. Thank you so much.

Truly brilliant opticians and staff. Perhaps seems a little old fashioned from the outside but trust me - after being with Vision Express and then Specsavers for the past 20 years, I'm so glad I moved my family last year. The big high street names may have the latest fancy equipment, iPads sofas and matching colour schemes etc but the price you pay of being herded in and out with rushed appointments and inexperienced staff isn't worth it where your eyes are concerned. Unlike the big names, who magically tell you that you need new glasses every time you see them because your prescription has changed (and then are reluctant to give you a copy in case you want to buy elsewhere) - these don't. They explain how major or minor your change is and what benefits it may have for you right now, but they leave it to you to decide. Plus give you your prescription for your records, without being asked. It was my first visit yesterday, although my wife and three children managed to have their appointments before the lockdown. I was really impressed just how thorough the test was, I came away feeling confident in the health of my eyes. Unlike before when I used to leave and think 'that was too quick, they didn't even look inside my eyes'. I truly believe these opticians are superior to any in the surrounding area and if you value the health of your eyes, I recommend you switch and see for yourself the difference.
