As a self confessed Pork pie aficionado it was my absolute pleasure to visit your shop on 5/1 on recommendations of midland hotel staff. I was on my way to Wilsons Crossgates but came to your shop on the looksee. Your display was magnificent . Bought 12 pork pies and two lge meat.They were the best ever. I now live in Essex (Leeds born) and my mission is to educate southerners into the joys of proper pies. Took 6 into the local Hostelry, blown away, to say the least. I am now in the process of creating A Whats app group for the localsCalleI am the piemanSafe to say the next time I visit I will be looking for at least 20.

The only meat I will ever purchase in Leeds from now on. Staff are excellent, the meat is an excellent quality and this business deserves to be supported and stick around for a VERY long time.

First class butchers where the very friendly staff pride themselves on the quality of their products. I travelled down to visit after being away for four years, it was well worth it. Still the same quality and staff who can't do it enough to help. If you're in the area and want a good class butchers. Howgate and Farrar are the ones.

Quality produce at higher end prices, so being a local, I used occasionally for meats, but regularly for other items Customer service not the best !!, Generally find quite unfriendly, but have let that go over the years but the following 3 strikes means over and out Once they stopped taking my order to serve another gentleman who walked in, he had just got out of a big Bentley.. how belittling, insulting and embarrassing - I walked out Another time, Would not accept a 5 Scottish note, explained it's all I had on me to pay with - but refused to accept , insulting, embarrassing and surely discrimination, as it is legal tender , so had to walk out again My partner queried an order that they had got wrong , but again, very rude , dismissive and uninterested, so she walked out Shame really, especially with Dean's unfortunately having to close but wll find another quality place i
