Royd House Dental Surgery

Been with practice for over 40 years and really happy untill my dentist retired 18 months ago. Now two dentists at the practice havnt sorted my problem and left me in pain. It doesn't seem as caring as it used to be.

Moved my daughter here after she was badly grinding and her previous dentist wouldn't do anything to help her with this. Royd house have been amazing so far and in the time they have had her under their care have done far more for my daughter than the previous place. The reception team are always very friendly. We are always treated quickly and efficiently. Staff are kind and curtious and take genuine care when seeing my daughter. They even remember things about her. Amazing team! We have to give a special mention to Charlotte who is just so good at what she does and actually explains things to me that my daughter's previous dentist didn't.

Avoid at all costs, they don't treat you like a person but moreso a number. They are very willing to throw people off their practice list who cancel appointments with advance notice due to their own emergency health. No compassion and a deplorable response from the practice manager who seems to put profit margins before care.

Been today first time since covid and the receptionists were so lovely wasn't worried at all about spacing or contact and we saw Charlotte who was amazing and kind and so gentle and patient towards each and every one of us(there were 5 two of whom was young children) she quickly put our minds at ease and was just so lovely I will never see anybody else now
