        Peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. The Croft is so lovely. The views are amazing and its it's so quiet and peaceful you sleep really well in the very comfortable bed. All the rooms are generous in size. The log burner was delightful on chilly autumn mornings and evenings. We received a warm welcome from the owner who gave us wonderful walking ideas and directions along with delicious, shop quality, homemade jam and marmalade, milk, cream, scones and croissants for our arrival. The kitchen lacked nothing and was easy to cook in for the week we were there. Everywhere was clean and we felt safe. We will be back for another stay as we fell in love with The Croft and Northumberland.
