        Easily the best pub in town. Friendly barman, nice choice of ale, warm clean and comfortable, full of ordinary folk enjoying their drinks. Wish wed gone to this one first!

        What a fantastic little find. True definition of micropub. A delightful selection of excellent ales. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere.....only thing I don't understand is why this doesn't have a 5 star rating! 5 out of 5 from me and if we ever venture up this way again, we're certain to call in. Good luck for the future!
