Beware!, your offer may not be passed onto the seller, I made an offer through Turvey Westgarth to be quickly told the seller was minded to take an other offer, I increased my offer by 20k to be dismissed, I asked if a closing date was to be set to be dismissed again, It seamed strange, now I know why, Land registry show it sold for less than my first offer, I sure this happens a lot in this industry, favoured clients get mutually beneficial treatment. Always try and meet with the owner of the property and confirm your offer to them so it is transparent.
