Bridge View Retreat

we stayed in bridge view house but there was no way of leaving a review for there so i am putting it here, the house was terrible, extremely outdated place to stay with very poor facilitys, the bathroom has a low ceiling and the taps on the bath are practically falling off their bolts, the toilet also didnt flush properly and if/when it did it would make a horrendous loud noise which i worried the poeple below us could definitely hear, there was one tv in the whole house situated in the living room which was ancient with a remote which didnt work and a dvd player from seemingly the dawn of time, the kitchen was acceptable except from the hard to use cooker, upstairs both bedrooms had the most uncomfortable beds ive ever slept in with my mum choosing to sleep on the floor to find more comfort than the beds, me and my boyfriends room had a single lamp in it which was not working. overall the stay was terrible and the no parking topped it off, i do not recommend staying here unless you want to be leaving with days of no sleep and aching backs.

right not gonna lie this place for the money was nowhere near worth it the beds were below youth hostel standards hard as anything horrible linen did not feel homely at all toilet did not work bath was not properly fitted glasses were cracked water tasted unclean the TV was ancient there was only one with a dvd player that only had pub quizes the remote did not work the lamps did not have working bulbs was only one TV aswell for as much as it was a night you would expect much better facilities at least a TV in each bedroom and a toilet that properly flushed honestly avoid this place not worth the money it was clearly not well cared for and outdated they had tapes to play music I felt like I was sitting in the 80s
