Attending this yin yoga class is usually the most relaxed I feel all week! Helen is such a warm and inclusive teacher, and takes a very holistic approach to creating a peaceful, balanced environment. The vinyasa classes are also a pleasure to attend. Suitable for absolutely everyone- if I can do it, anybody can. With Helens amazing energy, this feels like more than just an exercise class - its good for the soul!

Helen is a fantastic yoga teacher. I have been attending the Ashtanga classes twice weekly for a few years can really feel the positive effects of regular practice. My energy levels, flexibility have improved and a feeling of well-being after each practice. Helen has recently started Yin yoga which we also attend weekly. The contrast with Ashtanga yoga is remarkable and complimentary. I can highly recommend Helens classes for anyone thinking of starting yoga or returning, whatever level or age. You wont regret it.

I have been going to Helen's Ashtanga class for a couple of years now (although some of that was on Zoom during lockdown). Whether in person or on Zoom, Helen is an excellent teacher, explaining the asanas and their benefits clearly. I still find the session a challenge but know I have built up strength and stamina and I always feel energised by it. Recently, I have joined the Yin classes which are quite different. I thought an hour and a half would seem too long but the time goes very quickly and I feel so relaxed afterwards. I love the combination of the two classes.

I have been going to Helens classes for over 3 years now, both live and on zoom during COVID. Very encouraging and supportive with very clear verbal instructions. She gives a range of different options for each pose. She describes the poses as she does them so there is no time lost just observing. Her commentary is particularly helpful in explaining what muscles to use and where one is expected to feel the pose. The classes do follow a routine but with variations in each class. Interestingly I have noticed that over the years she has become more relaxed and subtle in her teaching. Certainly not formulaic or going through the motions. Wonderful enthusiasm and commitment.
