A decent pub with very good prices for bitter. My only objection was the huge number of TV screens showing premiership games. If you're a football fan and can afford 2.10 for a pint of bitter then you can't go wrong with the Eagle.

Horrid experience we went in for a quiet drink with our lovely beagle which was on a lead under control and she was attacked by a nasty cat twice! our beagle backed off and we walked out. Outside we realised our beagles face was bleeding from the scratches the cat had inflicted. We will never go to this pub again. What is the point of having a dog friendly pub if the resident cat is vicious. It should not be roaming around the pub out of control. A dog would not be allowed to behave that way. Truly horrendous.
