Rookley Farm Lodge

First Staycation to IOW with the family. This was recommended for my 30th Birthday as my auntie has stayed here 4 times already and it did not disappoint. Stunning views, a gorgeous house that had everything you needed from indoor and outdoor eating areas, tennis courts, swimming pool, sun loungers, BBQ, little lambs and horses in fields every time you drive into the Lodge. The lodge is also based in the middle of the island so perfect if your not a local and want to experience all sides of the island. I believe we are going to book it for next year, very happy to have found this diamond on the island, I will be recommending to all my friends.

we had a lovely stay here. However, if you use or even do not use, the BBQ, I strongly recommend that you take lots of photographs of the condition of it. We spent two hours scrubbing the grills and drip pan, only to be fined 50 for not doing so. If we knew they were going to steal 50 from us, we would have left it, and enjoyed another two hours holiday. Would I recommend this place, no most definitely not, feeling like someone has robbed us at the moment.
