David and the team were fantastic from start to finish. The prices quoted for the work were fair and clear. The team showed up promptly each day, finished the one-week project on time, and delivered superior work. In my case I had old pine boards refinished and David found matching reclaimed boards to put in the carpeted extension. All were sanded with minimal dust, stained, and varnished. David also generously worked with me to test different stains to find the exact right shade. I could not be happier with the work from this friendly, considerate team! I'm so happy with my floors! David and Claire worked a week restoring and sanding varnishing my hundred year floors and they are beautiful!! They worked tirelessly and surprisingly no dust! I can't recommend enough a pleasure to have working in my house and real professionals. Already my neighbours have seen the floors and want David's number. We choose David as he had restored our friends distressed 1960s parquet back to its former glory. David and Claires passion for their work and materials was evident in every step of the process - from tireless sourcing of the right size, price and quality of engineered oak parquet despite supply issues due to the Ukraine war; through repeated visits to measure up, check on the condition of our new extension floor and deliver the blocks for acclimatisation; to the 5 long days spent laying, sanding and varnishing. Communication was excellent throughout, they were considerate, professional and tidy at all times and and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
