Jigsaw Early Years Consultancy

We have used Jigsaw EY Consultancy for a mock ofsted inspection and found Vanessa's feedback very useful. I have also completed free training and her EPOP Festival 2022. I can highly recommend Jigsaw for their range of products, training and knowledge.

We are one of the largest independent Childrens day nurseries in Surrey and weve been established for nearly 30 years, I do feel that by our own admission we have gotten very complacent and very much stuck in a rut, staff morale was low, our occupancy figures were ever decreasing and the atmosphere wasnt very pleasant, following a recent requires improvement Ofsted report I contacted Vanessa from Jigsaw Early Years Consultancy prior to another Ofsted inspection to seek further guidance and basically ask her to give us her professional opinion on how we can improve our rating and turn things round, as part of Jigsaws services they offer a mock Ofsted inspection, Vanessa and one of her colleagues visited our nursery unannounced back in April 2022, following their inspection and subsequent report I was shocked at their findings and recommendations, we decided there and then that in order for our business to remain viable and sustainable we had to make some really difficult decisions, we immediately implemented Vanessas recommendations and Im delighted to say that our latest Ofsted inspection in December 2022 was the best report we have ever had, we have a new management team in place who have been brilliant in turning things around, our occupancy figures are growing rapidly, the childcare enquiries are phenomenal and the whole atmosphere in the nursery now is fantastic. I can honestly say now that if we never approached Vanessa and took on board her recommendations then we would have had another equally poor Ofsted inspection and in all likelihood we would have been forced to close down. I cannot recommend Vanessa and her team highly enough.

I am speechless, As a team I feel we always come away from any training or support provided by the Jigsaw team with so much more than we expect. The passion they have for what they do just shines through and makes you find "the fire in your belly" We are always left in awe and wanting to book more. Thank you x

Jigsaw consultancy have been fabulous. Firstly helping improve us when we really needed it. But then once we were good helping us become even better. We have had staff training, Management Mentoring, Quality Improvement Inspection (mock Ofsted!) and most important the Adding Impact Accreditation which helps engage the entire nursery on the journey to providing outstanding childcare. There is always someone who can help, who will listen and give you that fire in your belly. Jigsaw has helped us so much over the past 2 years. We have reflected and changed so much, we have participated and achieved the accreditation which was fantastic for every member of staff, it really is a whole team collaboration. It helped so much the team have continued the journey. We have used Jigsaw training, the baby room training was engaging and thought provoking and helped make changes to staffs daily practice. We are all looking forward to the safeguarding training we have scheduled soon. The management team absolutely love the jigsaw app and find these so helpful, solving those niggling questions that you want answered about Ofsted. I really cant thank Jigsaw enough for all the support and providing relevant and current help and advice, there is not many lovely people out there who fight for what they believe in, but the Jigsaw team believe in what they are doing and certainly believe in you.
