Swings, climbing frames, adult outdoor gym, football pitch, basketball hoops, green space, benches, parking (limited) Reviewing this in the context of a family with two young children who are local. Botley Road Park is a great public space, it's well kept, has a small enclosed playground with a soft floor for young children (including bike/scooter parking which ours love). It isn't an expanse and a walk around the outside won't fill even a short lunch break, but as somewhere to walk a dog (lots of dog waste bins); take a break from the home office (benches); or work up a bit of a sweat on the adult gym (bodyweight rower, moguls/skier, pull up bars, sit up benches) it's pretty good. Any issues are down to the people who use it, and whilst sometimes there may be a bit of dog dirt where it shouldn't be, or litter, it clearly gets tidied up regularly which is great. If you're looking for a park to drive to there is a small pull in which probably had space for three or four cars but street parking can be found very near. There is even a little woodland area which the kids love. It's difficult to review something that's free to use, and I know people may think it should be bigger, or have more facilities (there are no loos for example) but it's clean, free, and in terms of what it is, I think it deserves 5*
