Abbotswood Pre-school and Day Nursery

My little one has been at Abbotswood for about a year now. He Started in babies and is flourishing in Tweenies. With no family around, Abbotswood has become my little ones second family. I truly feel they care and look after him as well as a family member would. He thrives in the messy play, climbing and all the outdoor space. What drew me to abbotswood was the homely inside but the fantastic outdoor space they have. I burst with pride at pick up when they say what hes been up to and what hes learnt. And I love that they know his personality,, again gives me that family feel. thank you to all the staff for allowing me to continue my career knowing that my little one is well looked after and cared for and having such great adventures with you all.

Lovely nursery with a family-feel but also very professional, and focused on developing over time. Excellent communications, regular updates about your children and interactive events involving parents. Lovely people who you genuinely feel care about and want to build relationships and develop your children. Would recommend to anyone!

Wasnt happy with how the nursery was run, staff was unprofessional discussing my families personal life/business to other people. And when i pulled my child out of this setting they made a malicious report to social services.

My son has been attending Abbotswood for over a year now, what attracted me to Abbotswood in the first place was the amount of space that the children have. Its such a unique setting, coming from a childcare background myself, I know you dont find nurseries with this amount of outdoor space everyday. My son loves coming to nursery and always speaks fondly of his friends and the staff looking after him. The staff are so friendly and are always about to help, nothing is too much for them. Im so glad I made this choice for my son and I know he will miss it when he goes to school in September.
