Terraclean Romsey

My car had failed the MOT due to carbon emissions. Although they advertise that they offer the Terraclean service, they don't at the moment. Happily, Terraclean Shirley came to my aid and doing NOTHING ELSE to the car but the Terraclean process my car passed the MOT this morning.

Great go to place for the terraclean service, this can be helpful to older soiled or coked engines. Can help restore lost horsepower and performance. Can sometimes help save you the cost of stripping out and cleaning parts such as exhaust gas recirculation valves and intake or exhaust manifolds. They also offer a Diesel particulate filter cleaning. Recommend worth trying this service as an alternative to part replacement, you may be surprised with the results.

I called Paul on a Monday to discuss the DPF light that had illuminated on my Mazda 5. From the the outset Paul explained that he'd need to investigate the cause of the DPF light, rather than just cleaning immediately. I arrived early the following day and was welcomed with a coffee and the car underwent an immediate diagnostic test. After in depth review of the Engine management data it was established that the DPF wasn't blocked and there was no requirement to clean. Whilst it took three diagnostic test sets Paul eventually managed to reset all the fault codes and the car has performed as normal. Really liked Paul's honest approach and would recommend his services to anyone that has a similar issue. It's good to be able to find a garage that can be trusted to find the cause of the problem and not just change parts or do work unnecessarily.
