My beautiful Kashmiri rug, which I bought whilst working in India was damaged when a toilet cracked and water flooded through the sitting room ceiling onto the rug, damaging the pile in many places. Pars successfully restored it to its former glory, when I didn't think it was possible. It is now back in it's rightful place looking gorgeous again

I inherited a large antique rug (late 19th century) that had not been looked after as well as it should re cleaning etc. I had also stored it in a loft space where it had been attacked by moths when it already had some serious wear and tear and damage including removal of selvedges and one end. Arash was very helpful in giving me some history and assessment of the rug. He quoted quickly for cleaning and restoration separately with a warning that the rug would take some time to be repaired. This suited me as I planned to move house at the time. I have just received the rug back, after longer than I expected, but it is beautiful condition. The restoration brings it back to what must have been its former glory but without taking away from it its age, if you can see what I mean. I highly recommend Pars Rug Gallery to anyone with a significant rug that needs TLC. My only mildly negative comment would be that communication was sometimes extended and one promised video did not appear; but the time delay did not affect me and the final result is spectacular. It is truly a work of art. Now I need to sell it, with which Arash will also help, to pay for the restoration, but that was always the plan as my new home unfortunately does not have room for it. PS the photo showing the restoration has a very light streak on it which is just a patch of sunlight from a roof light, not damage to the rug. The other photo shows the type of damage before the restoration.
