        Friendly staff although no 2 4 1 cocktails on a Tuesday

        Careful - the Owner doesnt listen! We went for lunch and I ate the salmon advertised with seasonal vegetables - it appeared with the mash but just 35 peas! I queried the promise of seasonal vegetables with one charming member of staff who went to ask the chef but didnt come near our table again. I asked another staff member who checked with the chef and returned with apologies and an offer of 15% off the dish. I then checked other reviews on Google and see that this is a familiar theme, servings are mean on vegetables with replies from the Owner offering promises to address these issues, none of which have been followed through. Food is good but not cheap, portions are small, next door Josies has a 1 hr wait for a table - I think I have worked out why!! Shame. Lovely venue and lovely staff.
