Losing weight, turning 50, taking up Pole dancing as a hobby left me wanting to do something big in celebration of me. I started doing my research at the beginning of 2022 when I came across Julie. Although I was impressed, it took me almost a year to pluck up the courage to do anything about it. I submitted a query, and off the back of speaking to Julie, I found myself booked in. Julie phoned me a few days beforehand to check that everything was OK. I wasn't nervous at all on the day, and once I'd arrived at the studio, I knew that I'd made the right choice. The makeover done by Miriam was done to suit my normal self and she was such good fun, verging on being as mad as a box of frogs. I had an absolute blast during the shoot with Julie. All the poses were explained but by the time it came to it, I'd forgotten most of it but Julie was there to provide encouragement, great direction and absolutely no pressure. Julie asked if I wanted to do any nudes and my attitude was in for a penny in for a pound. I felt that I would regret it if I didn't. Again, no pressure from Julie. I felt like I had a complete workout during my shoot. My body is definitely not used to being in most of the positions! I took my husband for my photo review and my goodness me, Julie really knows her craft. The lighting, shapes and hiding of areas that I hate are fantastic. I felt so empowered by the images that I decided to have a nude wall art for my bedroom. In fact, they are probably my favourite pictures. Like so many other women, I'm not a model. I have areas of my body that I hate. I don't consider myself attractive. Julie will change your opinion of yourself in a very positive way.

Really is an incredible experience. Julie is wonderful to work with and very kind. Once you get the picture back, you cant stop looking at them. Will definitely be returning!

Absolutely wonderful experience..very relaxed and comfortable studio, felt completely at ease, and the poses were fun to do. Don't hesitate to get a booking, you'll be looked after from start to finish. Julie is incredible and you won't regret anything with Lone Barn Boudoir.

OMG, what can I say. The whole experience was fabulous and I can truly say what Julie has achieved in my photos is amazing. Girls, if you are looking for a confidence boost, this is the place to come. You will not regret it. Thank you so much Julie and Mim for a great day and I am looking forward to doing it all again next year x x
