I usually don't mind popping in here after shopping. But today it's Big chunk of the ceiling missing, took ages to get served and no matter where you sit inside you can smell stinky toilets Sort it out!

Review for John and Hayley - came in today for a quick bite to eat. Food was lovely and had a lovely chat with John. Staff are so friendly in this pub.

I have been to the goose many times over the years, and have never had any issues. There was a bouncer I have never seen before they had threatened my friend and I, because we propped our foot up on a chair in the beer garden. He then threatened us saying we have to finish our drinks in 5 minutes- and proceeded to get 2 other security guards onto us because we never left in the said amount of time (this happened because we thought it was ridiculous, and petty- he saw us laugh and then decided to kick us out because of that) The security guard then decided to use physical force by grabbing my wrist and throwing my drink on the floor exclaiming that I could get a refund, which is fine as this showed initiative! We then went to the bar and asked the manager for our refunds were the security behind us said you really thought we were going to give you a refund? At this time the manager that night walked off when we were trying to speak to her, which is in general bad for a member of management! The security guard then forced my friend out again with hands, she then mentioned that it will be on CCTV where they had then said that they will wipe their cameras. Ive never seen such toxic/abusive behaviour there before, and will not be returning again. My friend had trauma that had been triggered , and I felt like as a customer I was seen as a nuisance, and was treated with disrespect. This has now been forwarded to the CEO of Stonegate, as I am absolutely disgusted with what happened.
