Having not visit a hairdresser for years before randomly walking in one day I now go every 6-8 weeks with Alex who is awesome. She takes her time at the start and listens to what I'm after, introduces me to whoever is washing my hair and is always so happy. Thanks!

I had a lovely experience with Holly today. I was a bit apprehensive initially as I have been elsewhere for a balayage and was disappointed. I decided to try falltricks and see if I was happier with the result from them. I felt like Holly really gave me time and listened to the colour I was after, we discussed in length whether a root tint would be necessary etc and she provided educated advice and opinions and felt like I was really able to communicate what I wanted (I did show some pictures too, it is important to remember you will never come out looking exactly like the photos due to lighting, hair extensions, editing etc). So from then on I felt more comfortable for the rest of the visit. Holly took her time in applying the balayage and checked up regularly to see how the foils were lifting and removed them accordingly. All of the girls in there were lovely and made me feel comfortable, offered me refreshments multiple times etc. Falltricks have also been very good in squeezing me in during this super busy period which I am really grateful for as now I can show off my caramel highlights before Christmas. This was my last time visiting a hair salon as I had lost confidence in the whole thing due to previous experiences - but I will now be returning to falltricks in the future as I love the outcome. Holly is very good at what she does and if you are after a balayage I highly recommend her and this salon x Services: Blowdry, Balayage

Absolutely shocking haircut. I paid 175 for this appalling cut by Beth and a full head of highlights. One side is longer than the other and I pointed this out to Beth when she cut it. When I complained they did offer to put the cut right, but would you trust a salon that let a customer leave with a cut this bad?!!! Really, good business acumen would have been to have refunded the whole service. Although they did refund the cut reluctantly, they tried saying that because Id left it for three weeks before requesting the refund, it would not look the same as when I had it done. However this is rubbish as no one has touched my hair since and I did complain immediately after the service but was wary to have them take anymore off the length, it already looks so short and uneven. The manager is nice but she didnt at any point acknowledge that the cut was appalling despite the photographic evidence. They clearly need to give Beth more training and supervision before shes allowed loose on anymore customers. For that reason Ive rebooked with the Vanilla rooms in Hornchurch. When I went for my consultation they were shocked at how bad the cut was. For 175 plus a tip and over four hours in Faltricks, I expected a lot better.
