Opened on time, seen on time for my JSA interview. Treated with respect and understanding. Offered different ways to look for a job. JSA is only 77 a week but I am grateful as its better than nothing.

If you get there a few minutes before the appointment, they keep you waiting at least half an hour to 45 minutes after the appoitment is meant to be at. And yet, they'll get mad at you if you're a couple of minutes late. Once they call you over, the meeting usually only lasts about 5 minutes. I remember once being about 10 minutes early but they couldn't find my name in order to check me in, and therefore made me ONE minute late to my appointment. The "work coach" (they don't actually coach you on anything) was almost shouting at me when she saw me, only to then make me wait 40 mins for the appointment. This isn't because they're busy. They often just chat with their friends while you jusy wait there. If you go over to tell them you've been waiting for a while they just give you a dirty look and carry on. They also have security guys, and it seems the coaches only care when the security gets involved. You're also meant to only have one coach, but I had a new coach every time I was there, meaning I had to answer basic questions like what my name was every time I was in. They don't actually help people get a job. They omly just check that you look for a job yourself. The only good thing they do is giving you stuff like vouchers so you only pay half price on buses and trains. They also give you conflicting information. For example, they told me my account will only close when I'd get a job and would earn enough for them not to pay me for 6 months in a row. However, they closed my account the day I got a job, without knowing how much I'd earn. But yeah, the staff don't really care about people.

After a 45 min waiting call. The guy was not patient to answer my question. He closed the line in my face. I couldnt speak with him more than 30 or 40 seconds. I asked him to repeat his self he said no and closed the line! Cannot believe this happens in the UK. Very bad What?????!
