I have been visiting this church here now for several years, NOT as a congregational member though directly, I might add! Nout wrong with their church of course, I have been attending their meal drops for the financially unfortunates and the homeless in our society in the Romford areas that they run very successfully by all accounts on Saturday mornings from 10am till around 13.00 with a view to finish earlier than that. It reopened for their community meal on Saturdays last week re Sat 22nd November 2021 after a huge gap of course due to Covid Lockdowns and the like since shutting its meal drop doors on Mar 23rd approx 2020, the first of what will become known as the uk's 4 lockdowns in order to save lives. Please arrive at 10am for tea and a long sit down with the meal starting at 11am later. I met Patrick their new cook last week, he comes highly recommended as I have worked with Pat b4 the lockdowns at a similar church in Ilford a few years ago. Please tell all you know as we need a new group of people here, and these tendrils are designed to reach out there and find them. Many thanks. I look forward to meeting you. I have been advocating for the homeless etc now since March 1994, so know a few things to help people get back on their feet by now and attend to help here. Thank you. JCN.
