Fantastic school.. my son started this school at the beginning of year 3 with so many educational needs. And this school has helped him get through them. He is now working at the right level for his age. All the staff have always been so welcoming and friendly, and always helped us through our needs. I would recommend this school to anyone. Brilliant. .

An amazing village school, with great teachers, fantastic outside space, wrap around care, forest school, small classes and a nurturing and friendly environment. Would highly recommend.

My daughter has recently started at this school in year 4 and the school couldnt of been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. My daughter has known a couple of people that are in her class for years and they have been at this school for a few years , they couldnt sing the schools praises high enough. She has made some wonderful friends already and Ive not seen her so happy. The school itself is lovely and in such a beautiful setting , and it offers lots of great opportunities for the children. All of the staff have been so welcoming and helpful. I have met the headmaster Mr Bertwistle a number of times and he has been incredibly friendly and took the time to speak with and get to know my daughter , which I find lovely and creates a nice personal touch. I would recommend this school to everyone over and over .....its awesome!!!!

My son loves his school! He has been at Rogate Primary since Reception and is now in Year 2. It is a lovely small village school with a very caring, attentive and dedicated teaching staff. He has thrived here which is why we continue to make a relatively long school run each day to get there. Recommended.

Do not under any circumstances send your child to this school or Rake. My Daughter was being bullied and when my daughter broke down in class i was brought in and had a meeting with the head teacher David Bertwistle, he then proceeded to agree with me that my daughter was being bullied and we agreed how this would be handled. He then proceeded to inform the bullies parents that their kids had done no wrong and then proceeded to lie to me, even to the point, where we later on agreed that these two would apologize to my child and he would send a letter out, supposedly to underline what he had said to the parents....David rang me up and read out a letter which he said he was going to send out, which turned out to be a lie, and he send out a letter which said nothing....the children were also made to apologize to each other, even those that had done nothing wrong, just so that the two bullies were not, in the word of the Chair of the Governors' 'humiliated' as they assured the senior staff that weeks of picking on my daughter was just an accident and they didn't realise they were doing it!!! Consequently there has been lies after lies and cover up after cover up....Do yourselves a favour and do not send your children to this school, and do not trust teachers here or in Rake....and btw you should be aware that Polly works for the school....Like all reviews you can take this with a pinch of salt, I can tell you that there is no reason for me to lie and that I am solely trying to share my experience with you so that you are warned...I have no agenda, other than that of a parent who trusted a school and its teachers and was not only let down badly but abused by them, when they closed ranks to protect a system that is warped...likewise my daughter was treated with massive disrespect by the school and in essence have abused her to the point where she is now scarred by the experience....so you make up your own mind, what is shocking is the the board of governors also joined in on this....choose another school and make sure your child does not suffer in the same way mine has.....and btw Karen Trussler it is obvious that you have been asked to put a positive review on this for the school, as this is your first review!! However, i hope your child does not suffer at the hands of bullies or you need to get something done, as if you do...good luck and my experience is one of a parent who took his child back into Rogate as i like you trusted that School, now look what they did to me ....are you sure they would not do the same to you or anyone else? that is the question you have to honestly ask yourself...once a liar always a liar...good luck and I sincerely hope you don't find yourself in a position where you need these guys to step up...you will thank me one day for being honest....oh had to chuckle as the rsff or mail has gone out to try minimise the effect of my review, as you can see the rest of the reviewers simply have one review of the school and have all come after mine!....hey im sure they are not lying simply like myself previously not having been put in this situation, and thinking they are doing the right thing..as ive said you dont have to believe me simply be warned...and is it really worth the risk?!..if i had my time again id say no..but certainly take any glowing reference from a one review reviewer with a very large pinch of salt..
