John was fantastic on our first visit gave plenty of time knowledge and experience guiding us to the right animal for our daughter. On our return to our hade he remembered us and despite being busy both John and his wife gave us time and information on what to do and adding to call at any time and if anything down selling to only get what is needed and no pushing at all. Could not recommend any more

First time purchasing from the store today and could not be more pleased - both John and Sandy were incredibly friendly and helpful, and every one of the animals on display was happy and healthy in stunning vivariums! Got a juvenile crested gecko, as well as a mantis and pair of cockroaches, all fairly priced and clearly very well loved and looked after by the shop. Will 100% be returning in the future and cannot recommend them enough!! :)

We had been looking for a bearded dragon for a while to join our family and of course did as much research as possible before hand and brought everything we needed or was told we needed before hand to be the best owners we could. We was then told that this shop that a family member used years ago was actually still around so of course we had to go and have a look and pick up some final pieces. It was from the Moment we walked into The Reptile Ranch that we instantly was made to feel welcome and that we had made some very rookie mistakes. John and Sandy were not only extremely helpful and friendly but were so reassuring we honestly wish we had gone to them first which would have not only made us so much more knowledgeable but saved us a lot of money also. We were never pressured into anything or made to feel anything less than trying to do right by our new family member which we ended up buying from them as well as a whole new set up and everything we needed there and then. They were both very understanding and helped us more than they will ever no which is so appreciated and we will continue to be long term customers. They both really have gone above and beyond for us with everything from all the help and advice they have given us to ordering and putting together our new set up for us. They have really made us feel that they will always be there for us with anything and any help and advice we may need in the future. Honestly my husband, our kids and myself cant thank you enough for everything and we will continue to love and enjoy Bud (our first and probably not our last bearded dragon baby) and we will definitely be back in for more supplies and probably a lot more advice very soon. As youve probably guessed by this review we HIGHLY recommend The Reptile Ranch and honestly there is no need to ever go else where!!!! Not just great for reptiles! They sell lots of cage accessories (cork logs, java branches, coconuts, etc) and substrates (desert sand, aspen, coco bedding, etc) that are great for hamsters. The lady is really friendly and helpful, we chatted about reptiles and hamsters. They also offer holiday boarding for reptiles which is really good.
