Enjoyed a splendid 5-night stay here at this quaint, picturesque and quiet large English country home surrounded by horse farms and country estates. Richard and Nicola are very friendly and attentive hosts and have great stories about the area and their home and its history. Very hearty breakfast and what a spacious and well decorated room with huge claw foot iron tub. Nice! We already miss them and their dogs and horses! :-)

We have just stayed at Lullington house for 1 night for a wedding at Elmhay Park. It's in a perfect location for anyone visiting there or the golf course as the entrance for the both is a minute walk from the B&B. The owner is absolutely lovely and even let us check in the early the day before. The room was beautiful, large and clean and the four poster bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, there were a selection of cereals, fresh berries and yogurt and amazing bread & jams. The full English was perfect. I would definitely recommend. It's in such a beautiful setting with wild birds, chickens and horses. Thanks Laura & Scott.

I don't think I'll ever stop longingly sighing over Lullington House. It's hard to decide what to compliment first. The house is beautiful, our room was lovely, the people were so kind, the food was delicious, the surrounding area is picturesque, the location is close to several sites and there were chickens. Turning the corner in to Lullington House felt like a dream. It had been a long day for me and my boyfriend, and the former rectory was even more beautiful in person! The lovely Nicola and (after some pleading on our part) her two dogs showed us to our room. The Duckworth Room was immaculate and the shower and bathtub were a godsend after we'd gotten soaked on the way down. The room was extremely spacious, with beautiful furniture, and all the amenities you'd ever need - There was even a decanter of sherry in case you wanted a sip before drifting off to sleep in the four-poster bed! From the beautiful window you could see the lovely front garden and to my delight the area were the hens cluck about. We met Richard over an incredibly delicious full English breakfast in the dining room. While we ate we delighted in the beautiful decorations, and watched the birds fly around the birdfeeder, appropriately placed outside the dining room window. Richard was kind enough teach us more about the history of the house and the area, as well as give us some tips for activities. During our stay we visited Stonehenge, hiked around Cheddar Gorge and even went in to Bathe for an evening. You can see even more places of interest to visit on their website! We also spent a fair bit of time just appreciating the surrounding area. There's lovely walks to be had on many a trail, and Lullingon itself is gorgeous. Just watch out for a black lab named Otto. He's a jumper. Even Lullington House's garden is lovely! Right as you turn in there's a giant gorgeous tree that looks as old as the house itself. Round the back there's a beautiful orchard, delicious looking vegetable patch, and an apiary we were lucky enough to get some official Lullington House Honey from! Both Richard and Nicola were beyond accommodating during our stay. Richard even let me come along with him to tend to the chickens - a definite high point for my entire year. Despite our best efforts, no matter how good, the photos we took don't do the place justice! You'll just have to see it for yourself. I really admire everything Richard and Nicola have done with the place, and I can't wait to visit again.
