Hands down the best fish and chips I've eaten. The chips seemed to be double or triple cooked, the megrim sole was a must for anyone's next visit, cooked to perfection and the batter was crispy and not too heavy. The Mushy peas were very well seasoned, the tartar sauce was of very high quality. We will be visiting again before we leave the area on holiday.

By far the best fish and chips we've had. My wife and I usually only get cod and chips but our son persuaded us to try the monkfish scampi and the hake. Both were beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. Crispy, light batter and quality chips. Fantastic service. Cracking playlist. Faultless. Will be eating from Rock fish and chips whenever we're in Cornwall.

The shop looks nice, it was very busy with loud music but the wait times were long. The food was well presented but the price was extortionate. 45 for haddock and chips twice and sausage and chips twice. Then we got charged a further 5 for ketchup. It wasn't worth the money to be honest and a bit too greasy for me, at the end of the day it's still food served in a cardboard box. EDIT AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE: You made a fair few assumptions there, we are also young customers, and a drummer in a rock band, so used to loud music where it is appropriate. I also used to own a cafe so I am aware of overheads, but it is still only haddock - not cod, and sausage and chips in a box! You also have a captive audience as there are no other alternatives, perhaps you need some competition!
