upon arriving at rico i had booked a table and we were quickly sat. we ordered the popular dishes which included, chicken and chorizo, chorizo al vino, calamares and the Spanish morcilla. The service was quick and efficient and our waitress made sure to check up on us making sure everything was okay was very affordable. my partner was vegetarian and there was such a wide variety of tapas for him to choose from. The staff were lovely and attentive! looking forward to coming back!

Booked a table for 12 people at 5:30, when we booked, we were NOT advised it was paella only sunday, BUT they did allow us to order off the menu when they thought they were going to loose 12 patrons. So far the starters have been served separately, and 3 prawn cocktails were served after everyone else has finished. Ordered a 2nd round of the same drinks and the order came back incorrect. Staff have been rather ignorant and not friendly at all, BUT the waiter who initially served us, we very apologetic and it was his 1st day, so we cannot be harsh towards him. We have had to request the table to be cleared of the dirty plates. The main meals again came out sporadically and the last 3 duck dishes when all the others had already started. The steaks were not cooked as requested, vegetables advised on the menu with the dishes were not served. This was supposed to be a celebration birthday for a good friend which ended up embarrassing and stressful would not recommend this place at all x

We had Tapas, or their version of Tapas. All were ridiculously cheap versions of real Spanish Tapas. If you have had the real thing you will be incredibly disappointed but it made us laugh as each version was put on the table.

Lovely spacious restaurant with stylish decor and comfortable seating. The food was delicious and portion sizes for most items were good, lots of choices for tapas and everything we had was lovely. The restaurant called us before we went to let us know that they were only taking cash, which was good customer service, so we went to the cash point on the way. We were seated promptly but seemed very short staffed and although they were very polite the staff seemed to be struggling and it took a while for our drinks to arrive and even longer for the food. There were several things that we ordered which werent available, there were no hot drinks available at the end of the meal, and even worse, no churros!! (There was some sort of problem in the kitchen and they couldnt make them.) I would go back but I was a bit disappointed.
