Mentioned on his CheckATrader profile that he provides free estimate. He did come over, had a look at the electrics and gave us the estimate, that bit was fine. However after we decided to go with another trader, Mark immediately billed me 50. When I brought up the fact that its meant to be a free quote as claimed, he said its only free if we agreed to hire him. Apparently the 50 charge was to cover the cost of him coming over to "diagnose" the problem. This charge was never agreed beforehand. Felt like I had been scammed but I paid it anyway despite no work being carried out, as to avoid any problem since he already knew my address. The trader we went with was 300 cheaper than Mark's estimate. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Not entirely without issues, but a good enough job for the money. To give him his dues, Mark did resolve most of the issues in his work when they arose, but as good as he is at electrics, his fittings needed a lot of tidying up. He delayed starting for a week, blaming his busy diary, despite already paying his deposit. Prices were good tho.

Called to get a quote on some electrical work replaced a new extractor fan put in 1 extra socket and a light and connected an oven i told mark to connect the oven and hob. 2 days later i was told that the hob wasnt connected was not told by mark that this was the case. Verry disappointed as the work cost me 700 and only done half the work.
