We hired Jamie and his team through a recommendation of a friend after we had a very unfortunate turn of events with some previous builders who had been contracted to construct our loft conversion. Jamie's team took on the removal of two stud walls, the installation of a 3 meter high joinery-built staircase over a 10 meter deep gap, and the installation of a large MK04 Velux window in the roof. Over the few days of completing the job we found that there was a roof leak from where the previous builder's roofers had not sealed off the removed chimney flue, and Jamie's team quickly agreed to get up on the roof, patch it, and inspect and put right any defects. They were fast, accurate, professional, and happy to take on previous work and correct it - and all for a fair and competitive price. Would i hire Kent Roofing services again? Yes. Would i only hire them to finish roof services? No - the company has proven that it can do so much more than roofing services to a high standard, and so i would happily hire them for any other internal work. Above all of this, Jamie and his team have proven themselves to be trustworthy, good around working in sites where there are young children, fair and reasonable on pricing, and invested in ensuring that he can help his clients get a good and regs-compliant finish. They also worked well with the other trades that we had in, and in particular in going through some site specs with our other carpenter (who had been installing joists and secondary finishes) and project manager). Excellent service and brilliant workmanship, so professional. Jamie was friendly and so nice to talk to. English is not my first language but he patiently listened to me and gave me step by step explanations. What a relief. Jamie and his team sorted out my overgrown ivy, mended leak, and installed new soffit, fascia, gutter and leadwork. Beautifully done. After work, they even wiped my entrance door and garage door.
