Very expensive and some out of date products, shame as I used to like this place

Been using these guys for years now. Cannot fault them on price , service or quality. Just made the annual pre-Christmas trip to pick up my order of turkey crown and gammon. I guess they have a system... that exercise book full of scribbles comes out every year! And every year the younger guys get more impatient with the old timer who always seems to be standing between them and where they want to be. Wouldn't be Christmas without a visit to Farmview Butchers.....

Not impressed. Went here for our Christmas meat expecting nice fresh meat to have over Xmas. I ordered over the phone and it was ready for me to collect on Xmas eve. Got home and put it away. Didn't realise until Xmas day that they had given us rubbish chipolatas and sausage meat that had been frozen on its use by date then thawed out for Xmas eve. If I'd wanted cheap frozen rubbish I'd have gone to Iceland and stocked the freezer up. The turkey crown we got wasn't the greatest we've had before but It wasn't horrible. The beef joint however was not nice. We usually shop at asda and the cuts of meat and quality from a supermarket is head and shoulders above this cheap rubbish. Won't be using this butchers again!!

My first time using this butchers and my first impressions are excellent. Meat looks exceptionally high quality, very helpful and obliging. I'll definitely be using this butchers more often!
