Four years ago I asked DGMB to digitise three books, with b/w illustrations. The job was done quickly and efficiently. The illustraions came out well. I downloaded the texts onto KDP templates but I had great difficulty in placing the illustrations in appropriate places in the now formatted KDP texts. I nearly gave up. But I asked for help and got good advice which worked. The book is now published and looks really, really good. So thank ypou, Digitise My Books - and be pepared for another one, this time straight text with no pics!

Had about 30 books digitised into fully searchable pdfs, that I then transferred to my kindle. Fast, efficient service To have 30 or so large, heavy, dusty books compressed with their pictures into my kindle is amazing to me. They are also stored as pdfs on my laptop and phone. I couldnt keep the books as I am going abroad, I really wanted to read them but no time before I travel and it would be a few years before I had the chance to read them if I put them in storage. Also, these books were not available to by for the kindle previously. Only hard copies were available.

I am a postgrad researcher with over 150 photographs of archival records and wanted to find out about converting them to searchable pdfs. Digitisemybooks were able to take a look at some examples and advise me about how they could help and how to transfer the digital images to them before converting them into pdf for me. I use to use another company to scan my books, as I wanted to save then in electronic copies so they are not lost forever. I have challenged Digitisedmybooks as some books the paper was so thin that one can see, read the text on the other side of the page. Whilst this was a nightmare to scan for them, as text can become unreadable, together we managed to find a way. With the original PDF file I was able to reconstruct the missing/corrupt text from an unformatted copy. This was when I came to realise the after sales support was second to none. I now only use Digitisedmybooks because they go the extra mile to make sure all avenues of possibility have been exhausted before giving up. You can also sent the book in advance and they will suggest the best scanning option for you; and it's not the most expensive option. Digitisedmybooks is a company I thoroughly endorse for their excellence.
