I took one of our dogs here today for her appointment. Sometimes we have to wait beyond our appointment time if its really busy but today we were seen promptly on time. The vet is very good and gave me a lot of useful advice. We've been coming here for 15 years now so highly recommended

Having bought a puppy I had it checked at my own vets where I was informed that he had No chip despite paperwork from Lower place vets saying he had. I telephoned LPVets during opening hours. the telephone queuing system eventually said they were too busy please leave a message.... So as they were only 5 minutes down the road I went to the practice, which had no customers there! I made an appointment to re-chip the puppy. When I took the puppy they had one customer before me, one vet and 2 staff as well, the telephone was ringing constantly and being totally ignored despite them being free to answer, this was for in excess of 30 minutes. When the vet tried to re-chip the (2.5kg) puppy they held him very tightly and he yelped constantly with pain, the vet said, "All done" as the vets assistant picked the chip off the vets table where it had fallen instead of being injected... The vets assistant then gripped the puppy with both arms with the puppy extremely frightened as they tried for a third time to inject the chip. I have Never heard a dog yelp so much with the force they used to inject him. I was disgusted at the treatment this little puppy received. He or any other animal i know will never go there again. N.B. The puppy's brother was chipped at a different vets, they placed a few treats in from of him and quickly injected him whilst he was distracted. there was no yelping and no need to hold him anywhere near as much, plus they did it on the first attempt ! PLEASE THINK HARD BEFORE YOU USE THIS VET.

This place has been fantastic staff amazing couldnt of taken my dog to a better vets. Shes on the mend. Thanks great prices on treatment but would give my arm and leg for my dog but this place doesnt charge that.

These people really care for your pet! Its a simple as that! My dog is so nervous and hates anyone examining her to the point one vet elsewhere said they would have to sedate her to examine her anyway. She has allowed all the ladies here to examine her mouth, shave her, take blood and give her 4 separate injection. Animals do sense when people care! Happy to say my little Tina is on the mend and at the ripe age of 14 we thought that she wouldnt come out of this with a happy ending so thank you! I will add these do not charge the earth in fact I thought I was under charged until I saw the break down bill! Just amazing all round!
