Worked for these for a few weeks, they've underpaid me. Where they sent me (Viking tyres) told me not to do time sheets and they'll sort the hours. Red flags obviously. So I rang and checked with Ace Personnel and they assured me it would be fine i would get paid for what I worked. On most assignments each day I had to work for longer than 8hrs, sometimes upto 9.5hrs. I rang Ace Personnel to check on one day as I knew I'd be finishing late. They said its fine just keep track of the hours and email the them the hours worked at end of the week. I did so. They ignored my email and paid me for basic 8 hours per day. When questioned they told me they will only pay what the company I worked at is authorised to pay which is 40 per week. Seems like the payroll department and the guys giving out the assignments don't communicate very well. I won't be doing any more assignments for them and will be reporting them to HMRC for paying below minimum wage. I would recommend avoiding or if your desperate and they're only ones giving you work then make sure you do time sheets and get them signed.
