If your sending items abroad.. use the Royal mail website and use the click and collect service for free pick-up from home. Its really easy. Need cash.. you can draw out money from the counter regardless of who you bank with.. handy service. Stocks various stationary and cards. Friendly staff. Carpark at rear.. Dont be a mug by parking on the double yellows outside and on a major junction.

Only go there if I have to, you can tell they are not happy to serve certain race ppl. Oh well like anything else in that area... Only guy in last window on the corner is actually nice and helpful.

I am autistic. I called to confirm closing time is 2pm to make sure I arrive in enough time to process some returns. The gentleman on the phone first refused to answer my query, spoke over me and said there are other post offices that are open longer (but this is the closest to me). I called back and said my question wasn't answered and I got told off saying there is no specific time and they may close at 1.30pm or whenever and I can't turn up last minute. I wasn't going to, I respect it creates extra work for staff, but the presumption I would and being unkind and shouting at me, even after I explained I am autistic and trying to confirm closing time to reassure myself... he refused to take back what he said and / or even apologise, but instead continued to tell me off. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and it bothers me that people who are vulnerable may ever have to experience this for simply asking a question. Advia.A.
