Wellfield Surgery

This practice is in my Opinion dangerous, the receptionists triage when they have no medical qualifications and legally are not even allowed to do that by law !! Its a lawsuit waiting to happen and putting childrens lives in danger by not referring them properly to a qualified trained doctor to make medical choices and decisions regarding ongoing care

Shocking service this morning not knowing what a sputum sample was. New staff need training appropriately please before being confrontational with patients with underlying health conditions

I have been with this surgery for 6 years and have seen over 10 different doctors. I suffer with chronic illnesses and pain and it means a lot to me to have doctors that believe in and work with me. Their receptionists are mixed with the best and the sour, if you know what I mean. Some of them are exceptionally wonderful in carrying out their duties and make you feel welcome. Some of their doctors dont believe in chronic illnesses which have made my life unbearable many atimes. These same doctors have dismissed my invisible illnesses as mental health whereas other more broad minded and probably more educated doctors have confirmed my diagnosis and have been taking care of me. Their nurses are superb! This surgery is excellent and I would I would suggest it any day but choose your gp wisely.
